Abraham Babajide Cole is a Nigerian multidisciplinary artist whose work spans painting, drawing, sculpture, textile printmaking, and digital design.

His practice explores migration, identity, cultural memory, and the human condition through visual storytelling and material experimentation.

In october 2025, in his debut uk solo exhibition, Bound by Roots, Divided by Paths at the Dudley Library, West Midlands, abraham faced head on the conversation on human migration and its impacts on the mover, settler and native and the intertwined relationships between each of them in shaping the communities they inhabit.

A resident of the uk and based in the west-midlands, abraham cole’s work incorporates his new community and his lived experience within it and the journeys he carries within him from nigeria and from ancentral legacies of his yoruba heritage that have a rich history of movement.
